Carrier Transicold Launches New European Website
RUEIL-MALMAISON, France – Carrier Transicold has launched a new website for the Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Russian regions, featuring an easy-to-use product selection tool to assist customers in choosing the most appropriate refrigeration unit for their operation. Carrier Transicold helps improve global transport and shipping of temperature controlled cargoes with a complete line of equipment for refrigerated trucks, trailers and containers, and is a part of UTC Building & Industrial Systems, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX).
The website’s new product selection tool supports Carrier Transicold’s commitment to providing customers with access to a range of refrigeration units for everything from long-distance transport to multi-drop urban distribution. It allows key criteria to be specified to help identify the precise unit for a particular vehicle or application. This includes suggesting mission-specific products for pharmaceutical transport, night-time deliveries and intermodal operations as well as products for use in extreme hot or cold climates.
The website also features a comparison tool giving visitors the ability to compare technical data from up to five different Carrier refrigeration units at a time. Brochures and specification sheets can also be downloaded for reference. The website is mobile-compatible and is designed for a broad base of visitors including customers, network service partners, media and those seeking employment opportunities.
The Contact Us section provides full details for all Carrier Transicold offices within the region. Customers can make online enquiries or use mapping technology to locate a Carrier Transicold service centre, out of more than 600 service centres within the network.
“Our new website has been developed to create an intuitive user interface and improve the online experience for our customers,” said Victor Calvo, vice president & general manager, Carrier Transicold, truck / trailer, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Russian regions. “By comparing different models side-by-side, it’s easier for operators to see which system is best for them. It’s a simple tool to support the expert advice available from our local sales teams.”
The main website will be supported by local sites to be launched over the coming months including in Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Middle East, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Poland, Russia and the U.K. These websites will be available in 12 different languages for 15 countries.
