About CTLE Seafood

Frozen Fish and Seafood Trading. CTLE Seafood, Inc., is a Canadian company established in 2005, however, seafood business goes back several decades from early 1970’s to late 1990’s which included processing, fishing and trading with operations ranging from Central America to South Asia.

Today CTLE Seafood, Inc. is a full time frozen seafood trading company which has established partners in Iceland and Western Canada, close cooperations in Norway, North and South America, China and our own representatives in South Asia. This provides us the ability to supply a wide selection of frozen seafood products to our customers in Asia, Europe and North America only through our own trusted partners.

We have had our own presence in China since 2006, both in terms of supplying to and supplying out of China. For products out of China, we supply a few selected species of fish, cephalopods and shell fish in various forms. All our products come from our own selected partners who are HACCP complianced and EU approved. In terms of supplying to China, our products are shipped to processing plants for further reprocessing into Fillets, Portions, Loins, etc and to local importers for their domestic sales. Our sales to Chinese domestic importers continues to increase significantly every year.

In 2009 we partnered with a local Icelandic company in order to source and supply quality frozen seafood products from Iceland. Products such as Atlantic Mackerel, Atlantic Redfish, Capelin, Capelin Roe, single frozen Cod, Haddock and Saithe Fillets and a few other items are supplied seasonally. From Norway, we have been supplying since 2005 various frozen seafood products such as Atlantic Cod, Atlantic Mackerel, Haddock, Saithe, Greenland Halibut, Redfish, etc mainly for the Asian market. In addition to the above, we started supplying Brown Crab from UK since 2014.

We have been in partnership since 2005 to supply a certain selection of frozen seafood products from Alaska, Western Canada and Western US. Some of the products we supply are California Squid, Black Cod, Pacific Cod, Chum Salmon, Pink Salmon, Sockeye Salmon, etc. Additionally, we have been supplying only a select few species from East Coast of US and Canada.

Our products from South America come from our partners located in Chile, Peru and Argentina from where we supply various species of fish, shellfish and mainly squid. In addition to the above, we have also started supplying from Venezuela, Ribbonfish WR and HGT and from Ecuador, Vannamei Shrimps HOSO.
