About Emergent Cold

Emergent Cold New Zealand operates third party, independent cool and cold stores strategically located in Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin, Hawkes Bay, Kerepehi and Timaru providing more than 100,000 tonnes of storage space together with considerable blast freezing capacity.

Emergent Cold New Zealand is a licenced import transitional facility – and is able to unload and warehouse imported foodstuffs. The company has wide experience in working with all forms of transport from land-based to sea freight, and has rail sidings in Timaru, Dunedin and Mosgiel.

The Timaru complex is immediately adjacent to the Timaru Port . It has extensive frozen, chilled and blast freezer capacity and is directly accessible by road. All-weather facilities for loading and discharge are available.
