Operating a network of temperature-controlled facilities across Australia, its sites total in excess of 65 million cubic feet, or 300,000+ pallet positions of refrigerated storage. Utilising advanced integrated warehouse and transport technologies, Emergent Cold supports these facilities with a modern fleet of refrigerated vehicles and trailers operating under the Frigmobile brand.

The Laverton facility is located in the Laverton industrial district, west of Melbourne and is a cold storage warehouse. The first stage was built in 2008, followed by a second development of the building in 2014. Laverton is now reported to be the largest temperature-controlled facility under one roof in the southern hemisphere. Laverton was built with best practice safety and sustainability central to its design.
