About Johnson Feed Inc.

Johnson Feed Inc is a family owned operation for nearly 100 years. We provide refrigerated and van service to truckload customers out of the Sioux Falls, SD and Sioux City, IA areas. We operate full service shops and wash bay facilities in Sioux Falls, Canton, Vermillion, and North Sioux City, SD, and Waterloo, IA.

The company is located in Canton, South Dakota since 1993 when they moved into new warehouse, office and shop. JFI dispatches 220 company trucks, 124 owner/operators, and 1000+ trailers to all areas of the country except the Northeast. Meat and ice cream continue to be the primary outbound product with various refrigerated and general commodities as backhauls. The “family” has grown to over 375 company employees.

• Refrigerated and frozen freight. Johnson Feed operates an OTR and a Regional Fleet to our truckload customers. Our long-haul fleet focuses on lanes in the south, southeast, and western states. With a majority of our backhauls coming right back to the Midwest, our drivers are given opportunities for optimal miles and home time. Additionally, we’ve got regional fleets based out of Sioux Falls, SD and Waterloo, IA. With 300+ tractors and 1000+ trailers, we try to drop and hook whenever possible to keep you moving.

All of our power units are equipped with satellite systems, which gives us full visibility on your loads at all times. These state-of-the-art systems play a key role in keeping our drivers safe and your loads on time.
• Warehousing. Johnson Feed Inc. has 48,500 square feet of warehouse space in Canton. This space, or portions of, is available for lease depending on customer requirements. Arrangements can be made for special handling of product along with pickup/delivery services.
