Milne is setting the industry’s “gold standard” by producing superior IQF aronia and blueberries from a vertically integrated farming operation.

The IQF Process: Individually Quick Frozen slows decomposition by turning residual moisture into ice, inhibiting the growth of most bacterial species.
Milne processes IQF frozen fruit in two delicious varieties: organic aronia and blueberry, for the growing industrial organic market. The farming and processing operations are both certified by the Washington State Department of Agriculture’s (WSDA) Organic Program. The processing operations are certified by BRC (British Retail Consortium) and AIB International. The farming operation is Global GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) Certified under a voluntary audit that verifies that fruits and vegetables are produced, packed, handled and stored as safely as possible to minimize risks of microbial food safety hazards.
